Senior Product Manager (AI-Native)
Overview of the role:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Marketplace Incentives, a key strategic growth lever in Nerdy's two-sided learning marketplace.
In this role, you’ll own the design, experimentation, and rollout of incentive structures that reward tutors for delivering great learning outcomes and driving student retention. You’ll use economic modeling, gamified UX, and behavioral analytics to test and optimize tutor-facing programs that shape marketplace supply-side behavior at scale.

Qualifications:
5+ years of product management experience in consumer software, marketplaces, fintech, or SaaS environments.
Proven track record building incentive, rewards, or loyalty systems that successfully influenced user behavior at scale.
Deep familiarity with behavioral economics, habit loops, or gamified UX design.
Experienced with AI-native tools that enhance productivity and speed (Cursor, Make.com, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, Vercel, etc).
Strong analytical capabilities; fluency in using data to inform decisions and measure program efficacy
Self-starter with a strong bias for action and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with high attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Design and own the roadmap for tutor incentive programs, including reward tiers, monetary bonuses, and behavior-linked recognition systems.
Run A/B test economic models and UX flows that nudge tutors toward high-impact behaviors.
Work closely with engineering to design, build, and launch scalable features from backend logic to frontend merchandising.
Define how incentives are communicated across the tutor experience and ensure clarity and motivation.
Collaborate with operations, CX, growth, and marketplace teams to align incentive programs with overall tutor strategy.
Build the KPIs that matter: performance uplift, program participation, tutor retention, and downstream student outcomes.
