Director, Sales Operations
Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven professional to develop and optimize sales operations within a vertically integrated marketplace. In this role, you will make data-driven decisions and contribute to resolving complex operational challenges, including internal routing optimizations, product innovation, workforce planning and management, and operational forecasting.
This position is fully remote and reports to the company headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.

Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree of Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Requires 5 years of related experience.
Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze user data, usage patterns, and generate actionable insights for capacity planning, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Lean principles, root cause analysis tools and techniques including 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Cloud computing platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance for educational technologies.
Capacity forecasting and predictive analytics, and modeling approaches in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, or specialized forecasting software to predict future demand and plan capacity.
Workforce management (WFM) software such as Genesys Purecloud to schedule, track, and optimize the workforce.
Project management software (JIRA and Monday.com) to plan, execute, and manage projects involving workforce deployment and resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize sales operations in a vertically integrated marketplace.
Make data driven decisions and contribute to the resolution of complex operational challenges, including internal routing optimizations, product innovation, workforce planning/management, and operational forecasting.
Provide full analytical and managerial support to the Director of Consumer Operations in a professional and consistent manner.
Transform vague concepts and tasks into well-documented and effective business metrics and insights.
Identify opportunities for improvement via technology, process, or systems enhancements.
Develop project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs.
Communicate across multiple business stakeholders and facilitate prioritization and resource allocation.
Manage special projects related to key business initiatives with a goal to drive short and long term value while incurring minimal technical debt.
Oversee the management, organization, and reporting of key organizational performance data and strategic planning documents.
Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in St Louis, MO.
